Join The Multi-Lingual Book Club

I’d like to invite you to a multi-lingual book club.

Why?

1. The most unique feature of LumiReader.ai is the ability to transform a single book into over 30 languages and 5 different reading levels. This provides Lumi learners with a very interesting opportunity -- starting a multi-lingual book club.

2. Observations of Lumi Learners reveal that many are poly-lingual. As a result, even if their current target language differs from that of another learner, there are still conversational overlaps.

3. It should be fun! 😄

How is it going to work?

It’ll operate much like a regular book club wherein members will vote on a book, meet bi-weekly, and discuss a book.

The big difference?

The members may be reading the same book in different languages and at different reading levels.

This operational flow is likely to change with the member’s preferences but here's what I imagine:

5 - 12 learners vote on which book or part of a book they'd like to read together. Then twice a month on a particular day - Sunday for example - they all meet on Twitter Spaces to discuss what they read.

Learners explain their thoughts on the book in English and then again in their target language.

If someone else in the club speaks that target language - they can comment, ask a question, or help the learner express their ideas more.

It should be - at the least - a novel fun experience.
